The goal of our Family Faith Formation is to help the whole family grow in faith and build community. 

Each Faith Formation Sunday has 4 parts: 

  1. Breakouts
  • Breakouts are divided by grade for children in Prek4-High School while parents have their own breakout group. 
  • A Guide introduces the theme of the week through engaging discussion, games, and activities. 
  1. Mass
  • Celebrate Mass. Choose the team that best suits your families need, but please know that our 11:30 Mass is structured specifically with families in mind.
  1. Lunch & Learn 
  • The meal is prepared by our amazing SSJ cook team lead by Gary Dirker. 
  • This essential part of the day is where we wrap-up Faith Formation Sunday with announcements, upcoming parish events, and the next month's theme. 

 

Our ministry also includes at-home catechesis with easy-to-follow lesson plans. For families that wish to complete these lessons at the parish, we provide space for families to work together in "huddles" using a community approach to catechesis.
